IHE DELFT PHD SYMPOSIUM 2019

Innovations for Sustainability

We welcome presentations corresponding to this theme and with special focus on water and climate change-related challenges. With the goal of integrating the PhD community, we also welcome a certain number of presentations from external PhD students on relevant topics.

 

Participation:


For participation in the PhD symposium, registration and submission of an abstract are required. Abstracts will appear in the symposium handbook and they should, therefore, be prepared following the template provided in the google form. Abstracts and a short biography should be submitted using the form provided on the following link:

 

Guidelines for abstract preparation: 


Prepare your abstract for oral/poster presentation (300 words max) using the template as in this call.
 

Oral presentation:


Presenters will be expected to make a 15 minute presentation followed by 10 minutes for Q&A.


Poster presentation:


Guidelines to prepare your poster have been attached within the call. The presenters are expected to give 1 min poster pitch during the main sessions to enlighten the audience on the relevance of their work.

 

Awards for best presentations and posters:


The symposium committee will deliver awards for the best posters and the best presentation. 
Kindly note that all presentations: oral and poster, will be evaluated by a panel and the feedback will distributed to the presenters in a timely fashion. Awards will be given based on these evaluations.
